VIII. ELIGIBILITY TO SERVE ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

A. Members of the Board of Directors must be members in good standing with

NYSCSS in order to serve on the Board. Even those who serve as members of the

Board of  Directors representing a local council must be members of NYSCSS. The

Board of Directors will develop a notice for implementation of this policy which will

be included in the fall meeting notices.

B. All persons will be reminded of this requirement with their invitation to attend the 

Board of Directors Meeting and their membership will be verified by the Secretary

and the Executive Secretary prior to the meeting.
