We Will Write Resolutions To Be Presented at

The NYSCSS Annual Business Meeting

NYSCSS at the Annual Spring Conference

March 22-24, 2012


We are especially interested in writing resolutions to support

NYSCSS Position Statements By The Officers of NYSCSS and NYS4A addressed to:

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) and

The New York State Board of Regents on:


The Importance of Social Studies as a Subject,

The Importance of Social Studies as a Distinct School Subject

Citizenship as a Social Studies Issue

Bullying as a Human Rights Issue

Social Justice Issues

Etc.

            

+  Email suggested resolution topics, comments and wordings to the Resolutions
    Committee Chairperson, Carolyn Herbst, carolynbernie@aol.com   
+  Meet as a New Member of the NYSCSS Resolutions Committee
    at the NYSCSS Annual Spring Conference, if you plan to attend the Conference
+  Present Resolutions at the NYSCSS Annual Business Meeting at the NYSCSS
   Annual Spring Conference.
